Overview
- Our Super-B Transportation service is a hallmark of efficiency and capacity in cargo transportation. It involves the use of specialized Super-B trailers, a configuration that consists of two trailers linked together by a fifth wheel connection. The lead trailer is 32 ft. in length, while the rear trailer, commonly referred to as the “pup” is shorter (28 ft.). This design enhances load capacity and stability during transit.
- With a maximum load capacity of up to 90,000 lbs., Super-B trailers are especially well-suited for industries such as agriculture, forestry, and manufacturing. These trailers efficiently transport a variety of goods.
Trailer Configuration
The Super-B trailer configuration offers numerous advantages, including increased load capacity and stability. The longer lead trailer, combined with the shorter “pup” rear trailer, results in a highly balanced setup. This makes Super-B trailers particularly suitable for the transportation of bulk goods or high-volume loads.
Benefits
- Increased Load Capacity: The Super-B configuration allows for a higher load capacity, making it optimal for transporting large volumes of goods.
- Enhanced Stability: The linked trailers offer increased stability during transit, ensuring a smooth and secure transportation experience.
- Enhanced Load Distribution: This configuration ensures a more evenly distributed load, improving stability during transportation.
